The LoadDown - 01/03/2010

Happy New Year!  Many platforms aren't seeing much in the way of new titles this week, but we'll round 'em up anyway...

WiiWare -- Two new games and a demo.  Sneezies is a puzzle game with a cute twist, using sneezing powder to break tiny creatures out of their bubbles so they can be rescued.  Ghost Mania is yet another Tetris-like puzzle game.  And there's a free demo of Robox, the side-scrolling platformer that came out a few months back.

Wii Virtual Console -- Nothing new here this week, after a minor flurry of activity in recent months.

DSiWare -- Three new titles arrive.  Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology brings three of indie developer Rohrer's games to the DSi -- Passage, Gravitation and BetweenWord Searcher 2 is more of the same from Digital Leisure.  Music on: Drums is a creative music sequencer tool, with an emphasis on percussion.

XBox Live Arcade -- Three new titles this past week.  Dead Rising: Case West is another stand-alone episodic offshoot of Capcom's popular zombie series.  MicroBot is a twin-stick shooter that sounds like an update of Rick Levine's Intellivision classic, MicrosurgeonRaskulls is a side-scrolling platformer with a speed-run "racing" element.

Game Room -- Nothing new to play this week, so it's a good time to catch up on the library of titles released in 2010.

PS3 on PSN -- Quiet here this week, after the huge batch that debuted last time around.

PSOne Classics on PSN -- Nothing new here this week, either.
